Emergency lighting servicing and testing

According to UK fire safety legislation emergency lighting systems must undergo a comprehensive yearly evaluation, with companies required to do monthly ‘flick tests.’

The fundamental objective of emergency lighting systems is twofold: first, to illuminate escape routes during evacuation situations, and second, to help find the location of fire-fighting equipment in the event of a fire emergency easily.

The testing procedure is essential in ensuring that your emergency lighting system, including all luminaries, adheres to the rigorous standards specified by British regulations. The simulation of a mains power outage during the test provides all the information on the system’s readiness.

Our industry-approved engineers can carry out all tests annually required to keep you compliant and carry most types of battery, bulb tube and light fittings so that they can quickly fix any issues during the service without needing a return visit. We also record all findings in your fire safety log book and provide for your records the relevant legal documentation.
