Fire alarm servicing & maintenance should usually be performed on a bi-annual basis to BS5839-1:2017. This is inline with the UK fire safety legislation and British Standards.

We can carry out your fire alarm servicing & maintenance even if we didn’t install your fire alarm. Our team are highly experienced with all types, makes and models of fire alarms.

All maintenance visits are carried out at a time and date that suits you. We will contact you either by telephone or email ahead in advance to confirm our servicing visit. If via email you can simply confirm your appointment by the click of a button with our online booking system. Simple, quick and in control.

Once a maintenance visit has been completed, you will receive the inspection and servicing report automated within 5 minutes to your desired email address in PDF format. Should any failures of recommendations be highlighted on a service visit, a “service defect report” will also be issued and sent to your desired email address in PDF format. One of our dedicated team will then be in touch to raise a quotation should you wish to proceed with the work. If you have multiple sites and are set up on our online portal, you can see multiple reports at once, so you can manage everything from one place.

How often does my fire alarm need servicing?

Service intervals are usually every 6 months to comply with BS5839 and the latest British standards. We also conduct many on a quarterly basis depending on the type of building use or at the customers request.

A Certificate of Inspection is supplied following a service visit. This details all equipment serviced and confirms its fit for purpose.

What if my fire alarm develops a fault?

As part of our service we also provide a 24/7 emergency call out. This is part of the maintenance contract, giving you peace of mind that your fire alarm system is always being looked after.
